University of Arizona Student Union Memorial Center
1303 E University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85719
The newly-completed Student Union Memorial Center, one-of-the-nation's-largest student unions is high on the wow factor. The heartbeat of the university is a 10-acre student-friendly building mingling food, fun, shopping, studying, and just hanging out. Officially named the Student Union Memorial Center, it pays tribute--both in design and memorabilia--to the U.S.S. Arizona, sunk at Pearl Harbor in 1941.
