The National Optical Astronomy Observatory’s department of Education and Public Outreach is currently hiring! The position will help support various local science education outreach events, such as star parties, education workshops, after school programs, and camps. Job duties include: refurbishing materials needed for activities, office tasks, setting up and tearing down facilities for events, working directly with students of all ages, and more.
NOAO is looking for highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic students majoring in science, engineering, or science education. Students with any background in teaching or education are highly encouraged to apply! This part-time, year-round position offers competitive salary, flexible hours, occasional weekends, and the opportunity to make a difference in the community!
