Looking for a good time and some inspiration? Well look no further than this happening on October 29.

This event is open to the public, and we welcome anyone who wants to attend.
Dr. Neo Martinez from the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department will speak at our first event.  Neo is a strong supporter of SACNAS, has served on the Board of Directors for SACNAS, and wishes to be involved with our chapter members at the UA. This year, we will have 10 UA faculty members from all different aspects of STEM to come talk to us about their research and their journey through academia.  The goal of these events is for undergraduate and graduate students to interact with a diverse selection of faculty members outside of the classroom.  After their talk, we open a discussion session with free refreshments, where students can comfortably converse with speaker.

AISES UA has switched this up this week! Instead of holding our usual General Meeting this Wednesday (May 1st) - we will be hosting a Finals Destresser for anyone who needs a mental break, wants to fuel up on some good food, or has questions on tried and true study methods.

Come join AISES UA tomorrow Wednesday, May 1st in Engineering 214 for our last "regular" get together of the semester. Also we encourage you to bring a friend and some snacks to share!

SACNAS UA will be hosting Dr. Teshia Solomon (Choctaw/Mexican American) Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and co-director of the Native American Research and Training Center (NARTC) at The University of Arizona.

When: Thursday, April 18th
Time: 5:00pm
Where: Native American Research and Training Center (NARTC) on 1642 E. Helen Street (north of Speedway)

Dr. Solomon will be speaking about her journey through sharing her experiences in health-related research and training involving Native American students in public health. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about public health, Native American Community Health Issues, and so much more.


Dinner will also be provided.
